Beautiful Indian Modular Kitchen Designs you can’t ignore
Kitchen curtains are an essential element for finishing the kitchen decoration. Unfortunately, they often tend to be forgotten. However, when you have them, you only see what a difference you can make by framing your windows with the right window treatment. Here are five tips to help you make the right choice.
1. Choose a simple, informal style
Fancy swags and tails and detailed curtain headings are more suitable for formal rooms such as the lounge or the bedroom. Keep the curtains simple in a kitchen so that they fit more in the room.
2. Add impact with the fabric design
While we may hesitate to choose (and get stuck in) colored cabinets, curtains are a great way to add some color to a kitchen. Choose a fabric design and colors that go well with the other elements of the kitchen, whether modern, classic or rustic.
3. Keep them short
Curtain strips are usually a better match for the informal style of a kitchen, although full-length curtains may be appropriate if you have a window in the dining area of your kitchen and use this for dinner. A cafe style curtain is also good if you want some privacy but do not want to block too much light.
4. Make sure they are washable
Kitchen curtains are probably much dirtier than curtains in other rooms in your home with all the steam and grease in the air. They need to be cleaned frequently so that it becomes easier for yourself by choosing a curtain or cloth that can be easily washed in the washing machine rather than one that needs you to take a trip to the dryer.
5. Think about security
Fabrics dangling over a dining area are not ideal. If you have a window near a fireplace, consider curtains are a safe option. You may be better off with a simple roller blind that will stay far away from the flames or hot pots.
