Pots: they are used to cook and boil liquids on the stove.
Sauce pans: manufacture sauces and hold liquids. Heavy bottom with sloping lips is preferred.

Food thermometer: to take the temperature of meat, chocolate, water etc.
Measuring pitcher: for measuring fluids. It should be heat proof.
Grater: used for grating ginger, garlic, chocolate, cheese and citrus peel. Four sides of metal are preferred.
Double pan: used for fine sauces, chocolate melting and generally melting things.
Bottle / jar opener: for opening jars and bottles. It should be well mounted if possible.
Kitchen scales: to measure food quantities. Should be either metric or imperial.
Microwave: used to quickly heat or melt food and frozen sauces.
Plaster and mortar: used to serve food and crush spices.
Kitchen timer: for precise cooking interval settings.
Measurement of cups and spoons: to measure ingredients accurately.
Spatula: to lift food from pans and also to scrape food from pots, pots and bowls. It is used to mix ingredients.
Kitchen scissors: for cutting bone and meat.
Brush: for applying liquids such as eggs, oil and sauces to the food.
Pipe bags: for tube cream, glaze, potatoes etc.
Blender / liquidator: used for fine grinding of food and vegetables. It is used to make milk shakes and smoothies.
Barbecue: usually comes with the oven, but it can be delivered separately. It is used to roast steaks, chops and sandwiches.
Seive: it is used to drop sauces.
The ladle: it is used to fish out soups.
Wire rack: it is used to hold cakes, cookies, buns etc while they cool.
Scoop: to eat ice cream, potatoes etc.
Pressure cooker: Quickly used for cooking pots, pans, dumplings and base layers.
Pastry products: used for cutting and shaping pastries.
Other kitchen appliances include; freezer, food processor, ice cream maker, toaster coffee maker etc.
